About This Collection

Born out of a trip to the San Juan Islands in Washington state for a friend’s wedding. We needed to take the ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbour…

…And I was simply at the right place at the right time. 

Being from the east coast, this was my first foray into PNW life. This part of the country is far more beautiful than any photo can accurately capture.

Crisp, clean air. Blue skies. Evergreens in abundance. A trip that will forever remain close to my heart.  

These were taken aboard two Washington State Olympic-Class ferries- the MV Samish and the MV Yakima.
